Reggie's esoteric technique enables him to avoid damage by countering domain barriers that utilize a cursed technique, which nullifies any guaranteed hits. However, since Hollow Wicker Basket does not defend against cursed techniques themselves, its efficacy is contingent upon the existence of a domain barrier.
